Some of those are giving below:- Lucknow Lucknow is only 190 kms. from Nepalgunj. Famous for its 'Manner and etiquette' since history it is now shopping paradise for people of Nepalgunj. Lucknow is the capital city of 'Uttar Pradesh' state of India and has been constituency of foremr Prime Minister of India Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee hence the development is seen clearly as you enter from Nepalgunj side. Main shopping areas are Hazratganj, Aminabad, Alambagh, Kaisarbagh, Lalbagh, Shahnajaf Road etc. The 'Chikan work' (a special type of embroidery on ultra thin and transparent cloth) is speciality of Lucknow since history. Ladies prefer to wear 'Salwar suit', 'saree' of Chikan work. There are many showroom of Chikan cloth in Hazratganj, Janpath, Nazirabad, Aminabad, chowk etc. The evening is famous of Hazratganj. However you can spend your evening in some shopping malls, multiplex like 'Wave' and 'Saharagunj'. Want to see historical monuments? Go to 'Bara Imambara' (Bara=Bigger, Imam=The head or The King, Bara=The place) which also consists 'Bhulbhulaiya' (The maze), 'Chota Imambara' (Small Imambara). Better take a guide before entering Bhulbhulaiya. Definitely it is not easy to come out comfortably from there. There is also 'Baawari' (Swimming pool cum water storage of ancient time) where Queens used to swim. In summer you might love to go to water fun parks. There are about four water fun parks in lucknow with many types of water slides, water falls, sea-waves, snow-fall, rain dance floor etc. Goto top Nainital One of the most beautiful and famous hill-station in India. A favourite holiday place for people of Nepalgunj. Nainital is about 7 hrs drive from Nepalgunj. Many people from Nepalgunj can be seen during school holiday time in Nainital. Famous for its lake 'Naini' (tal = lake in Hindi). There are uncountable number of hotels in Nainital from 5 star to budget ones. Prefer to stay in any hotel on lake side. The road running parallel to lake is called 'Mall road' the heart of town. You might want to choose one hotel on this road. However star graded hotels are about 1 to 3 kilometres towards 'China peak' A number of restaurent lets you to choose the taste of your own. Also you might want to take horse ride across the Mall road. A number of boats are there in lakes either hire one with boatman or hire a paddled boat for your the fun and exercise of your legs! There is famous temple of 'Naina' Goddess just touching the lake near 'flat area'. And yes! Don't forget to shop amazingly shaped candles from Nainital, the speciality of Nainital. Go towards China peak towards Telecommunication office and an number of fruit shops are there. You can make a good shopping of fresh fruits. Goto top Agra If an overnight journey in train allows you to see one of the 'Seven wonders of world' would you ignore it? If your answer is 'No' goto Agra and sit on the famous love-bench of white marble with your spouse or girlfriend infront of 'Taj mahal'. Higher than famous 'Kutub Minar' of Delhi, the Taj Mahal is famous itself and doesn't need any more description, we think. Except Taj Mahal there are many other thing sto see. The Fort of Agra, The fort of Fatehpur Sikri, The tomb of Akbar and many more historical places. There is a vareity of 5 and 4 star hotels like JayPee Palace, Mugal Sheraton, Clarks Shiraz, Holiday Inn, Taj View Hotel, Hotel Mansingh Palace, Hotel Trident, Hotel Agra Ashok, Hotel Howard Park Plaza, Hotel Amar Vilas and many more.
