Introduction
Mahendra Higher Secondary School is one of the oldest school
in Nepalganj. It was founded in 2016 BS (1959 A.D.) as Night school for
aged people. The president was Mr. Indra Mani Manav and principal was
Mr.Rudra Pati Lal Karna. It was opened for children also in 2029 BS (1972
A.D.) upto grade 4. Every next year one grade was added till grade 10.
In 2051 BS (1994 A.D.) , 10+2 classes were added with science, commerce
and education faculties.

Class Timings
Nursery to Grade 10 : Morning shift
10+2 : Day shift
Sunday to Friday.
Science Laboratory
School has huge four seperate science laboratories. One each for Physics,
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
Uniform
Nursery to Grade 10 : Green Salwar-suit for girls and sky blue shirt and
dark blue pants for boys
10 + 2 : Brown pants and brown lined shirt with white background for boys
and girls both.
Library
School has a good library with good collection of text-books and references
materials. School also provides major national and local newspaper and
magazines in the library for the students.
Admission Schedule
Nursery to Grade 10 : Admissions are started from Nepali month Baisakh
(around 15 of April).
10 + 2 : Admissions are opened as soon as result of School Leaving Certificate
(Grade 10) is published.
